In September, I had one free Sunday with absolutely nothing on the calendar. So naturally, we got in the car and drove north. We took the superior hiking trail starting in Silver Bay. We hiked overlooking Bean Lake, and camped on the shore of Bear Lake. In the middle of the night, we woke up to a roaring thunderstorm, and in the morning, we hiked out and went back home.
It was a fun quick adventure. We will never grow tired of the North Shore and all there is to explore up there!
