HOW!? How has one entire year flown by already?! On May 24, 2014, I married my best friend at my grandparents barn in Good Thunder MN. It was truly the best day ever… the best month ever… okay, maybe the best TEN months ever, as we planned, prepared, created, dreamt, and spent so much time with our families in the process.
On the wedding day we were so blessed with the perfect weather, breathtaking venue, and most importantly, all of the people we love were there by our sides (or celebrating from afar!) to celebrate our special day with us. The ceremony was beautifully done by our pastor, the food was amazing, the speeches were memorable, the sun went down, the lights turned on, and we laughed as we danced the night away in that barn. Slowly as people filtered out and went home, our closest friends and family sat by the bonfire. I was wrapped up in my grandmothers quilts and a happily dirty, well used wedding dress, eating s’mores and petting my sleepy puppy with my husband by my side.
It’s hard to believe it’s all over! Which is why I am so happy that I picked such an amazing photographer to capture it all. We appreciate it more than you will ever know, and feel oh-so-blessed to have had you by our sides all day.
